The challenge can sometimes be in finding them.

The links below include scholarships along with some search tools, however, also look at specific places to see if they offer scholarships.  This might include your parent/guardian's place of work, the bank or credit union where you have an account, and places where you shop; CVS, Wendy's, Home Depot....  Also, the public library has scholarship books to check out.

Each year, the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation awards 150 college scholarships worth $20,000 to high school students across the United States through the Coca-Cola Scholars Program. Students need a 3.0 GPA and fill out an online application that requires no essays, no recommendations, and no transcripts!

THE DEADLINE IS 5:00 pm EST on October 31, 2022.

Greater Oakland Charter Chapter of the American Business Women's Association

The Greater Oakland Charter Chapter of the American Business Women's Association is offering 2, $2,000 scholarships this year. Information for qualifying for these scholarships can be found at

The 2022 Heisman High School Scholarship is now open! This year, The Heisman Trophy Trust is proud to award to the nation’s most accomplished and community-minded male and female senior scholar-athletes. With winners from every school, 100 State Winners, 10 of whom go on to be National Finalists, of which two are declared National Winners.  Graduating seniors have many ways to join the ranks of more than 600,000 past winners.  Deadline is 10/18/22

Italian American Club

The IACL Charitable Foundation offers a Scholarship Opportunity to all incoming seniors (Class of 2023). The deadline is October 31, 2022.

To be eligible for an IACL Charitable Foundation Scholarship, all candidates must meet the following requirements:
Italian Ancestry, Academics, Financial Need and Character
1. Candidates must establish Italian Ancestry and reside in Southeast Lower Michigan.
2. Candidates must have completed their junior year of high school in the spring of 2022, have a B average in all classes.
3. Candidates GPA is to be submitted based on a 4.0 scale.
4. Candidate’s need for financial assistance will be considered.
5. Candidates must be outstanding in character, integrity and leadership.
All candidates who satisfy the above requirements then compete for the limited number of IACL Charitable Foundation Scholarships awarded annually. The final selection of scholarship recipient’s rests with the Scholarship Committee.
